Daniel Nogueira-Budny is a dual U.S.-Brazilian national who joined the Bank in 2014. His thematic specialties include fiscal and administrative decentralization, digital governance/GOVTECH, and public administration. Prior to joining IEGEC, Daniel worked in the Governance Global Practice on public sector reform in Angola, Liberia, Mozambique, and Sierra Leone.

Daniel holds a Ph.D. in Governance (Methodology and Comparative Politics) from the University of Texas at Austin, a M.A. in International Relations from Georgetown University’s School of Foreign Service, and a B.A. in Political Science from Columbia University .
